A centrifuge is a device for separating two or more items using centrifugal force. The action of items moving around a center axis to keep going in a linear motion and move away from the middle of the spin is called centrifugal force.
This can be used to remove two subsantaces from eachother becuase the heavier the substance the more it will move away from the central axis of the spin/centrifuge
